By creating an account, registering as a candidate or recruiter, or browsing our website, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. User Accounts & Verification

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to register for an account.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You can register using standard credentials or secure third-party login providers like Google OAuth. When signing in with Google, you consent to our retrieval of public profile info to build your account.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activities or actions under your account.
• You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

3. Permitted Use & Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes related to career networking, job hunting, recruitment, and professional skill development. You agree not to:

• Upload or submit any false, misleading, or deceptive resume or candidate profile information.
• Use the Service for any unauthorized commercial recruitment purposes or spam.
• Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the website without our explicit prior written consent.
• Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to obtain the source code of the Service.
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or destructive code.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

4. Candidate & Employer Content

Our Service allows you to post profiles, resumes, portfolio links, and job listings ("Content").

• You retain ownership of all Content you submit. By posting Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such Content solely in connection with operating and providing the Service to you.
• You represent and warrant that your Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or contractual rights of any third party.
• We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor, edit, or remove Content that we determine in our sole discretion is unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, or otherwise violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, design, code, logos, branding, and features, is and will remain the exclusive property of HackersFriend and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

6. Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by contacting us or selecting the delete account option in your settings.

In no event shall HackersFriend, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
• Any content obtained from the Service.
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
